How to Switch From Inner to Outer Portal in MAG?

Your MAG box’s settings menu has a “Change to Inner portal” or “Change to Outer portal” button that you can click on to switch between the two modes. If you want to add IPTV channels to your MAG device, you can do so by using the inner portal and entering the portal address provided by your IPTV provider.

How to Change Portal Address on MAG?

Unplug the cable that connects the router to the box and turn it off.

  1. Turn the box on without the modem cable.
  2. Wait for the “Loading Portal” to appear on the screen before continuing.
  3. Press the “SET” button on your remote control.

How to Add a New IPTV Server to the Portal?

  • A new IPTV service provider can be added by following these steps.
  • To continue, use the directional buttons on your remote control to scroll left until you see the “Settings” option, then press the “OK” button.
  • With your remote, scroll down to “Reload Portal,” then press “OK” on the next screen.
  • At this point, a pop-up message will appear asking if you want to restart the portal. To confirm, use the directional keys on your remote to select “OK” and then press the “OK” button.
  • The portal is now being relaunched. It should only take a few seconds to complete this task.
  • Options such as “Embedded Portal,” “Saved Servers” and “System Settings” can be found on the portal’s black background with yellow icons. On your remote’s scroll wheel, locate “System Settings” and press the OK button.
  • Select “Servers” from the “System settings” menu on your remote control and press “OK
  • Scroll to “Portals” and press “OK” on the following screen using the direction buttons on your remote.
  • The information about the previously saved portals, such as the “Portal name” and “Portal URL” should now appear in your MAG box.
    Enter the new portal information provided by your IPTV service provider in the free Portal slot on your set-top box.
  • Press the “Home” button on your remote several times to return to the “Select a portal for loading” screen.
  • All that’s left is for you to select a portal with your remote and then press “OK
  • The portal you selected will now begin to load. Please double-check your settings and try again using the instructions above if it does not load.
